Super easy beanie made with a color changing yarn for maximum visual effect with minimal effort. Makes a great “first” beanie since it’s so easy. Just a K1, p1 rib and then it’s into stockinette until you are 8 to 9” from the beginning edge.

You’ll need DPN’s to finish off the hat. Adding a pom pom is optional of course.

Sizing is very generous, since the hat has a good amount of stretch to it. If you are substituting with animal fiber (the yarn I used is acrylic), you probably know by now your hat will grow! Must I tell you to swatch and block and gauge? You’re still not going to? Ok…well…at least go down a size needle or something.

Happy knitting!
