> Quadform Hat

Quadform Hat
Quadform features bold color blocks and an interesting construction. It begins in the round with a ribbed brim and then shifts flat for the body using the intarsia technique. Four contrasting sections create a geometric look, making it a great project for trying intarsia in a manageable way.
The pattern was designed using Crazy Perlen by Schoppel; a set of five coordinating mini balls that make color selection effortless. Whether you choose high contrast or subtle shifts, the structured design highlights the interplay of color. Worked with simple shaping and finishing, this hat comes together cleanly for a modern, eye-catching accessory.
This project begins in the round and then continues flat. It requires knitting knowledge including:
- German twisted cast on
- Working flat and in the round
- Knitting/purling
- Intarsia
- Decreasing
- Mattress stitch
