This simple, squishy garter stitch shawl makes perfect TV/travel knitting, and has plenty of scope for playing with colour - keep it simple or mix it up. It is also great for using up scraps of leftover yarn, as the stripes require only tiny quantities.

Materials:
Eden Cottage Yarns Hayton (4ply/Fingering; 80% Merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 350m/380yds per 100g skein)
Shade (MC): Steel; 2 x 100g skeins
Note the shawl uses approximately 150g (520m / 567 yds)

Eden Cottage Yarns BFL Sock (4ply/Fingering; 100% Bluefaced Leicester; 400m/436yds per 100g skein)
Shade (CC1): Rust; 1 x 20g skein
Shade (CC2): Autumn; 1 x 20g skein
Shade (CC3): Winter Sunset; 1 x 20g skein
Shade (CC4): Harvest Gold; 1 x 20g skein
Shade (CC5): Natural; 1 x 20g skein
