The repeating quatrefoil pattern on these mittens was inspired by intricate window and fence decorations on old buildings. A simpler version of the pattern is repeated on the palm side. These mittens feature an afterthought thumb making them especially suitable to wear over another pair in cold weather for extra warmth.
