This top down raglan based shrug is a snip to knit. Start at the neck work down the body and the sleeves and then add the ribbed edging around the opening. Not a seam to be seen!

The lace pattern is shown in both charted and written format.

All these measurements are approximate as there is no front to the shrug and the sizes are very forgiving. If you at all unsure as to which size to knit base it on a measurement from shoulder to shoulder across your back
Small: up to 18 inches, Medium: up to 21 inches Large: up to 25 inches

“Quick note ( that I need to add to the pattern) all the inc 1 should be done by knitting into the back and front of the st. This is the first and last stitch of the row and is NOT knit as the “k12”-instruction in the set up row etc.

Cast on 69 sts
Inc 1, k12, yo, k1, PMa yo, K41, yo, PMa, k1, yo, k12, inc 1 This has the PMa in the wrong place, it shall read: Inc 1, k12, yo, PMa, k1, yo, K41, yo, k1, PMa, yo, k12, inc 1

Once you have purled back across the next row you should have
15sts, a marker, 45sts, a marker, 15sts.

Start of the lace.* The first row of the lace pattern is knit like this: k2, yo, SSK, k4

inc 1, k4, PMb, work row 1 of lace chart, PMb, k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, PMb, work row 1 of lace chart 5 times, PMb, k1, yo, k1, yo, k5, PMb, work row 1 of lace chart, PMb, k1, inc 1. - slip all ”a” markers as you come to them.

Note on the “All sizes work RS row”; it says lace x3 for all sizes. Should read 3/3/3/5. Also sm-instructions are missing.
