36 sts / 44 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch using US #1/2.25mm needles

32 sts / 42 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch using 3mm needles

With knitting relaxed, one 16-stitch repeat of Lace Pattern measures 1 7/82 1/8 inches.

The pattern features twisted stitches that form the goblet stems and add stability to the lace pattern. The sock is meant to fit looser than a standard sock, allowing the lace pattern to show slightly relaxed.
