Pattern for a pair of crocheted fingerless gloves consisting of a smooth black base with rows of bumpy red hearts, creating a look somewhere in between playful, stylish and funky.

Note that the black Nova yarn I used is a cotton and won’t stretch. The amount of chains (35) I started with will result in a glove that fits a slim female wrist.
If you have bigger wrists, please make sure to start with a chain of 40 (45, etc) OR choose a yarn with a bit of stretch for more wiggle room. See pattern for details.

One skein of each color will easily make you one pair of gloves. Suitable for advanced beginners and up.

UPDATE 11-21-2014
This was my first pattern ever - I just copy-pasted my own notes to share - and pretty much unreadable. For the updated PDF I revamped and professionalized the whole thing. As always, feel free to contact me at rinske@recoverista.com if you have any questions!

This pattern will always be free. If you want to sell finished items you make based on this pattern, I’m cool with that. I appreciate it if you let me know - extra brownie points for a pattern credit or link back:).

Have fun!

ERRATA
Row 4 repeat / Last wrist row aka first increase row:

bottom p4
Where it says ‘a total of 6-8 rows’ and ‘your 6th, 7th or 8th row’, it should say HEART ROWS (so the total of row 2-4 repeated for 6-8 times)
