A recreation of a scarf Queen Victoria gifted to eight soldiers for their bravery in war. It makes a unique Christmas gift for a British royalty or history lover.

This pattern includes written instructions and a diagram.

TOOLS: any hook and yarn, yarn needle and scissors. For reference, I used a 4 mm hook and a weight 4 acrylic yarn.

SIZE: adaptable. You can ignore the gauge without a worry in the world.
GAUGE: 10 x 10 cm = 15 stitches x 7 rows with a 4 mm hook using this pattern: 3 dc in same st, sk2; repeat. If you want an end result similar to mine using the same material, the gauge will be helpful. But you can absolutely use different tools and skip the gauge.

ABBREVIATIONS (US TERMS): ch: chain, dc: double crochet, st: stitch, sk: skip, EOR: end of row, cl sp: cluster space, sp: space

MATERIEL : n’importe quel fil et crochet, aiguille à laine, ciseaux. Pour référence, j’ai utilisé un crochet de 4 mm et du fil acrylique qui se crochète en 4 mm.

TAILLE: facilement adaptable.
ÉCHANTILLON : 10 x 10 cm = 15 mailles x 7 rangs avec un crochet de 4 mm, en suivant ce modèle : 3 br dans même m, passer 2; répéter. L’échantillon est facultatif. Si vous souhaitez un résultat similaire au mien avec la même matière, l’échantillon vous sera utile. Mais vous pouvez utiliser d’autres outils et ignorer l’échantillon.
