J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth universe have been an inspiration for many artists throughout the world. Here is my hommage to these fascinating stories: Quendi Hat. “Quendi” was the name given by the Elves to their own kind. If the Elves are your favorite Middle-earth creatures, you will love this cabled slouchy hat.

Finished measurements
17”/42.5 cm brim circumference.
10½”/26 cm height from base of ribbing to top-center of crown.
Measurements taken after blocking.
Fits average adult head sizes 20-22”/51-56 cm.

Yarn
Approximately 160 yds/144 m of aran weight yarn.
1 skein of The Plucky Knitter Primo Worsted (75% Merino, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon, 200 yds/182 m in 100 gr); Flannel

Needles
Size US 6/4 mm and size US 8/5 mm circular needles 16”/40 cm long, or size to obtain gauge.
One set of double-pointed needles size US 8/5 mm.
