This pattern is a super quickie knit due to the large needles and the bulky yarn. I call it my 2 hour hat, but quite frankly, if you are a fast knitter, you could probably knit it in less than 2 hours. You do need both a 16” circular needles and a set of double points. Alternately, you probably could do the whole thing on the double points, but it would undoubtedly slow you down. I love this hat. It is really chic and I have received numerous compliments. I completed this hat with one skein of the yarn but you might want to purchase a 2nd skein if you want to be sure you have enough or want a bigger hat or are a tight knitter.
