A simple “pattern” for beginners; it requires knitting only and is quick gratification!

This scarf knits up quick and easy on big needles with super bulky yarn! It is great for a last-minute knitted gift, and looks good even on inexpensive yarn. Both Lion Brand Hometown USA and Wool-Ease yarns knit up well with this pattern.

I typically purchase 3-4 different colors, but one scarf does not use all the skeins! With 5 skeins of Wool-Ease I once knitted 3 scarfs and 2 matching hats for a fundraiser. It was a great use of yarn, and the scarf/hat sets were very popular!
