Quiet Day is a simple and quick knit which works for a variety of yarns. It’s knit in garter stitch with the occasional eyelet row and border.

Finished measurements: Wingspan 67” 170cm, depth: 18” 45cm.

YARN: 4 skeins of Tukuwool Fingering
(100% Finnish wool); 213yd 195m - 50g)
in 4 different colours.
Approx. 470 yd 430m of fingering weight yarn.

The sample was knit in 4 colourways:
C1: Rae,
C2: Ujo,
C3: Taate,
C4: Sake.

You’ll need about:
10g in C1,
20g in C2,
40g in C3,
50g in C4.

NEEDLES: US 6 30’’ 4 mm 80 cm circular needle.
Adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
Other tools: Tapestry needle, blocking aids.

GAUGE:
16 stitches and 20 rows = 4” 10cm in garter stitch. Gauge is not crucial.
