Pattern as written provides a comfortable fit for hands 5.5 inches around the wrist and 7 inches around the largest part of the knuckles. Instructions are provided for increasing size either by adding stitches or by changing gauge.

This pattern looks fantastic in variegated yarns, but I have also included instructions for working the gloves in a stranded pattern using two solid or semi-solid yarns. If you work the two-color version, you will need an extra ~50 yards of contrasting yarn in the same weight as your main color.

This is a quick knit, requiring about 4 hours per mitt. Great for last-minute gifts!
