Quinconce mitts are made in a staggered rib pattern, which is a very easy variation of the traditional K2/P2 rib. It is available in 4 sizes to accomodate everyone from child to adult. It can be knitted as fingerless mitts or full mittens.

Sizes:
XS (S, M, L) to fit hand circumference of 6 (7, 8, 9) inches/ 15.25 (17.75, 20.25, 23) cm. XS is a child size, S, M, L are adult sizes.

Yarn requirements:
Fingerless Mitts:
54 (79, 93, 125) yds/ 50 (72, 86, 115) m of aran weight yarn.
Mittens:
58 (84, 115, 153) yds/ 54 (77, 106, 140) m of aran weight yarn.

Gauge:
20 sts and 21 rounds = 4”/10cm square in ribbing pattern, slightly stretched.
(Gauge in stockinette stitch in the round= 15 sts and 21 rounds = 4”/10cm square.)
