I’ve added a German Version but it’s for the Rabbit Doll only, not the clothes…

It’s the season to mention bunnies… and also the year! This year being 2023 = The Year of the Rabbit!
So - my homage to.

Rabbit Doll is a more ‘doll-type’ version of the bunny. A clothed character that you can dress - and if you choose to add wires (which I explain how to in the pattern) pose!

The knitting patterns within the pdfs are to make the rabbits; the trousers and the dress plus a simple sewing pattern to make the felt coat.
The sweater that you see is the same as the Frog and Ratty sweater pattern

I used two yarn held together - an alpaca and a kid-silk, but, as always and especially with these stash-busting, small projects, my yarn choice is just a mere suggestion.

You’ll also need eyes - I’ve used plain black, 6mm toy safety eyes (although this doesn’t make this doll safe for young children). I’ve linked to where I bought my eyes from within the pattern, I’ve also linked to where I sourced my yarn, the shoes (oh the shoes!!) and various other materials which you might find useful.

I mentioned the use of wire. I’ve used paper wrapped plant ties for this purpose, 15cm/ 6in long ones which you can get from garden centres and of course ‘Amazon’.

There is also a useful video for the construction, from start to finish, of the head - that’s here if you wish to view pre-purchase:

I think that is all info-wise - just ask if you want to answers to anymore Qs.
