This is a modification of a pattern by The Yarn Company in the back of the children’s book “Shall I knit you a hat?” by Kate Klise. This version is knit in worsted weight yarn and has a ribbed brim instead of a rolled brim and the ears are worked on double-pointed needles instead of worked straight and then seamed.

This is a very simple knit and looks super cute on. The child size will fit a small adult too, if you can find one willing to wear it!
