A rabi is a spring breeze which, while it brings the warmth, can still chill a person fooled by the brighter, sunny days. This wimple can be worn scrunched down or up around the face in the spring (or any other time) to give a bit of soft protection against such a breeze. Calling on the frequent use of birds and feathers in Persian art, the stitch pattern imitates ostrich plumes. Subtle shaping allows a closer or more loose fit, as desired. This is a great first project for laceweight yarn.
