A quick knit Cloche, the Rachel Cloche was inspired by my second sister’s second daughter, Rachel. It’s a great gift and can be adorned and worn many ways.

Knit in one piece, beginning with a bias garter stitch edged with I cord brim. The crown is knit in short rows directly onto the brim. Close the crown seam with either Kitchener’s Stitch or instruction are given for a crochet hook assisted closure that is almost identical to the effect of Kitcherner’s stitch. Instructions are included if you prefer to knit in two pieces and sew the crown to the brim.
