This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Nicole.

This deceptively simple pattern results in a wonderfully squishy, warm, cozy shrug. Knit from side-to-side then sewn into shape, this shrug is great “mindless knitting” in front of the TV or even while reading a book!

There are three options available in the pattern, each one requiring a different type of yarn, different gauge, different number of meters, and different needle sizes. Here are the options:

  1. 650m of “Chunky” (also called Bulky or #5) weight yarn, 9mm x 80cm circular needle, and a gauge of 12 sts over 4”.
  2. 645m of “Bulky” (also called Super Bulky or #6) weight yarn, 9mm x 80cm circular needle, and a gauge of 12.5 sts over 4”.
  3. 410m of “Super Bulky” weight yarn, 15mm x 80cm circular needle, and a gauge of 7.2 sts over 4”.

Pick your yarn and the corresponding needles, and knit yourself this incredibly comfy shrug in a weekend!
