A fast knit combines with speedy electric blue
cables racing along the length of a garter stitch
hat. A perfect introduction to stranded knitting
worked back and forth vertical stripes makes the
wrongside knitting just as easy as the rightside
knitting. Shaped with short rows and modular
construction this knit is quick and interesting.

PATTERN NOTES
This hat is begun by working the cabled panel
back and forth from bottom opening of hat to
crown. Stitches for the remainder of the hat are
picked up from the side of the cable panel and
worked in garter stitch using short rows for
shaping.
