I tend to be a bit compulsive. I arrange my markers in ROY G. BIV order, I change the direction the toilet paper spins wherever I go, and I like things to line up. Thus, this pattern was born. I love the nature of the variegated yarn, but I needed some sort of order in my knitting, so I made lines…and lots of them with my stitches.
This pattern is written for both fingering and sport weight yarns because sport is totally the new fingering.

Gauge: Sport: 7.5 sts. and 12 rows /in. Fingering: 9 sts. and 14 rows /in.
Finished Size: Sport: S, 7.5”; M: 8.5”; L: 9.5” / Fingering: S, 6.25”; M: 7.25”; L: 8.25”
Note on the heel: This heel makes a very deep cup. If your gusset is narrow or your heel squat, you’ll want to start the heel sooner or eliminate one set of increases.
