This mitten pattern was created to go with andrealea’s’ Rad Hat on Ravelry.

I wrote the pattern to knit cuff up, but if you are worried about having enough yarn, you can start with a provisional cast on before you increase for the wrist and then knit the cuffs later so that you can make the cuffs as long as you have yarn.

They take less than one skein of bulky weight yarn, as shown. This means you can make lots of tassels if you make the Rad hat or you could do a picot edge at the bottom of the mittens.

This is a very easy knit. Just remember to do one right hand and one left hand!
