The front panel is knitted in garter stitch, using increases and decreases to form the figure-flattering v-shaped stripes. The back is knitted sideways in stockinette stitch to form vertical (again, flattering) stripes. This is a fun way to show off a yarn with long color sections. In addition to Trendsetter Tonalita, it would look great in Noro Silk Garden or other similar yarns.
