This circular blanket is the ideal size for warming your lap on a cool evening, or swaddling a small child. It knits up quickly in the round using chunky yarn The repetition of the radiating arms of the star is easy to follow once established. Eyelet edging prevents the edges from curling.

Instructions are included in both written and charted form.

The designer has posted an extension of the Radiating Star Blanket for those that would like to make it larger or use a worsted weight yarn to achieve a similar diameter to that of the chunky version. The extension works out to be 62 inches wide when the project is worked in chunky yarn.
