This hat is knit from the bottom up, mostly in the round. First both earflaps are worked back and forth, then the final head circumference is cast on between earflaps to work the hat in the round. The allover texture pattern highlights the beauty of the yarn. A pixie style crown shaping, and tassels take this classic chullo design to the next level. More slouch can be added to crown by adding more rounds before starting the crown shaping.
