SHORT DESCRIPTION
The inspiration for Raili Hat came from one of my previous designs, Raili Pullover. The hat has an extra wide folded brim in 2 x 2 Rib. The crown has the same Cable Pattern as Raili Pullover. Raili Hat is knitted from bottom to top.

SIZES
1 (2, 3)
Raili Hat is designed to have some 6-9 cm / (2.25-3.5)” of negative ease. You can pick the right size measuring your head circumference and subtracting 6-9 cm / (2.25-3.5)” from that measurement. Then, find your correct size by choosing the closest circumference to that number from the list below.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Hat circumference: 41.5 (47.5, 53.5) cm / 16.5 (19, 21.25)”.
Hat hight with brim folded: 22.5 (25.5, 29) / (8.75, 10, 11.25)”.
Hat hight with brim unfolded: 38.5 (43.5, 49) / 15 (17, 19.25)”.

GAUGE
27 sts and 36 rnds using 2.75 mm US 2 needle = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4” over Cable Pattern.
It is important to make a swatch to obtain the right gauge because your gauge will define the final measurements of the hat. If you get too many sts per 10 cm 4”, change to a bigger needle or if there are too few sts, try to work with a little bit smaller needle.

NEEDLES
2.75 mm / US 2 long circular needle.
The pattern is written for using a long circular needle 80-100 cm (32-40”) and the Magic Loop technique.
