▲ PATTERN NOTES
This open-front vest is a simple piece, with cozy pockets, that’s great for layering. It uses an unusual construction, by starting at the center back with a provisional cast on, then joined and knit in one piece, top-down from the underarms.

▲ SIZES
To fit bust sizes 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54)”. This sweater looks best with 0-2” of positive ease. If your size is not available, please choose the next size up. Vest fronts do not meet to close, as this piece is intended to be worn loose and open.

▲ YARN
Madelinetosh Vintage (100% superwash merino; 100g / 200 yds) - 5 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8) skeins, shown in Thunderstorm

▲ NOTIONS
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn for provisional cast on

▲ NEEDLES
US Size 8 (5.0 mm) 40” circular needle, and set of 5 DPNs, or size needed to obtain gauge

▲ GAUGE
18 sts x 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
