I combined a few ideas together for this block, and I figured I’d share this pattern. It is by no means original, just the way my brain amalgamated everything into one, which several people expressed interest in!

You’ll need more yarn than you think you will, by a lot, and use an appropriate hook size for your yarn weight. This example was crocheted in Aran weight yarn.
