DETAILS: RAINBEAU HEADBAND

  1. Fit is adjustable. The headband has two repeats of a six-color sequence. If additional length is needed, more rows are worked in the final color.
  2. Yarn is worked at a firm gauge for minimal show-through of the contrast colors.
  3. Method of weaving in yarn ends creates a neat edge.
  4. Headband is seamed with single crochet.

The pattern also includes bonus instructions -- “Rainbeau: Any Yarn, Any Width, Any Size” -- to make headbands for anyone from babies to adults with big noggins and skinny headbands to wide, cozy earwarmers.
