This soft and cosy hat will keep the early spring chill away. Use a chenille yarn to knit this super fluffy head warmer, and short rows to make the decorative flower. You can also knit the flower to make brooches or to decorate other knits.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the hat is knit on single pointed needles (not in the round). This pattern is designed specifically for knitting in chenille yarns. Chenille is a cosy soft yarn (usually 100% polyester) that makes a super soft knit.

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Happy Chenille (100% polyester), DK weight (double knitting/light worsted weight), up to 25g in each shade.
