This pattern is for crocheting pretty rainbow coasters, which will light-up your coffee or dining table, or may be a delightful gift for someone special !!!

This is a really fun flower pattern, using standard crochet stitches and Tunisian crochet Entrelac stitches, which are described in detail.

These are great to crochet; you will learn them in this pattern (if you don’t know them already) and could use them in future projects.

There is no need for a long hook for this pattern.

Diameter of the coasters is around 5.1 inches (13 cm), and they are shaped as a flower doily.

The pattern includes two PDF files:

1. Detailed step by step photo tutorial.
2. File without pictures for printing the pattern.

Both are written in US English terms.
It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the pattern by following the photo tutorial first.
The printable version is best used when you already know the pattern.

Skill level: Intermediate.

A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches required.

Materials:

1. Yarn: 100% cotton Rico Ricorumi DK, 25 gr. Of course, you can use a different material with similar weight. You can choose which ever colours you like for the coasters; in the example shown I’ve used six different rainbow colours. The amount of yarn required is detailed in the PDF file.
2. Size 2.5mm crochet hook.
3. Scissors.
4. Tapestry needle.
