This square was created to be colorful, bright, but most importantly 7” x 9” when done. Why is this? The “Warm Up America” initiative. If you’ve not heard of it, I urge you to check out their non-profit blog here: https://warmupamerica.org/ They serve so many in need communities, such as homeless, Veterans, senior citizens, and babies!

Graphed Crochet Chart AND Row by Row instructions to work it. Quick video tutorial linked in pattern blog page. Worsted weight yarn and G hook.

What do YOU do? Create this square (or any square that is 7” x 9”) and then mail it in to the organization. THEN, they assemble them into blankets and distribute them to those in need.

Of course you can use this for ANYTHING! Assemble a whoel bunch into a blanket. Make two, sew them together and add a handle for a tote bag! Get creative!

I ask that once at the pattern link, you do not save and share the graph. Rather, please share the link to the blog page. Much Love and Yarn, Stephanie Pokorny/Crochetverse
