This pattern set includes full instructions for making a crocheted rainbow lorikeet, one of our most colourful native birds of Australia. I have included excellent step by step photos. The lorikeet is worked in 8ply worsted weight yarn, with a 3.5/4mm (E4/ G6) hook. The finished bird is about 23cm/9½ in from his/her tip of head to tail. Once you have mastered the shape, experiment with different colours.
