Colorful shawl/wrap, made of 5 yarns dancing together.

This is the first shawl in a series of 5. I started it after a doodle I made, and another, and then I just had to try it in knitting.

This is the softer version and not as big.
5 yarns starting together,
moving one by one to the other side,
and ending together in a one big st,
just as they did in the beginning.

The knitting is a mixture of st.st and garter, with some inc and dec.
The pattern is charted (2 pages, but one page at a time, no jumping from chart to chart),
and written.

Size per gauge: 57X18”, without the fringe.
Adjust the size by using smaller needles and thinner yarn.
You can skip the fringe and weave-in the ends instead.

Yarn: 5 yarns, approx. 60y/55m each.
Use bulky/super bulky, worsted double stranded, and novelty yarns.

• The key is to use novelty yarns, or any other yarns with special texture.

• Have a big variety of yarns, and alternate them. Example:
if you have 2 eye lash yarns, put a boucle or self striping yarn in between them for better effect.

• Don’t worry about running out of yarn. Instead, be adventurous, and substitute a different yarn whenever you run out. This will make the knitting and the shawl more intriguing.

Many Thanks to ShuiKuen.
