This is a 28-inch square baby blanket for those not afraid of color!

I wanted to create a colorful rainbow blanket for my baby but not follow any traditional rainbow esthetic. This rainbow sunburst is vibrant and perfect for either a boy or a girl.

It uses a 6mm hook and approximately 200 yards each of 8 different colors (4 dark and 4 bright), plus about 150 yards of black for the border.

The squares are joined-as-you-go to eliminate sewing squares together at the end and minimize ends to weave in. Though it looks complex, it is really quite straight forward and should be easy for any level of crocheter to make!
