This top is knit from the bottom up. The body is knit in the round and then separated into front and back to work the chest and straps. The eyelet section is knit all the way up the back. There are 4 sizes available (girls 6, 8, 10, and 12).

This top is designed with about 3” of positive ease for a comfortable fit. The measurements below are for waist size and in (brackets) garment size. The length measurement is taken from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the shirt. Base the size on the girls measurement around their natural waste as age is just approximate. Drawings to scale are provided on the last two pages of the pattern. Required yardage of both the main colour and contrasting colour is also provided for each size.

The main colour is knit using the larger needles and the contrasting colour uses the smaller needles. The pattern is written including annotated pictures where necessary.
