Rainchaser set uses a deceptively simple mosaic pattern where only one color is worked at any given point to create an illusion of stranded knitting. Three colors are used for a gentle ombre effect - I used my ever favorite cream to grey transition but this would work equally well for more colored choice.

The pattern includes both the hat and the cowl.
