This is one of my favorites and definitely a well-received gift among friends and family. It’s a big hit at the craft shows too! In addition to holding coins, this zippered coin purse is perfect for storing those smaller items that roam around the interior of your purse like keys, chapstick, mints, gum, eyedrops, floss, etc. It will help keep your purse organized and clutter free!

The Omega La Espiga Size 18 nylon cord used to make this pattern is ultra-sturdy, easy to care for, and has a soft feminine sheen. It comes in 83 amazing colors so you can make a coin purse to match any outfit. Each skein will make 3 of these coin purses, so make one for you and give two away as gifts. I promise they will be well received. I can hardly keep up with the requests from family and friends. :-)

The final purse measures approximately 4” H x 6” W.

To finish the pattern, a 1/4 yard of fabric and a 7” zipper along with matching thread and a sewing needle will allow you to add a lining to the purse. You can hand sew or use a sewing machine.
