From Knit and Crochet with Beads The lush chenille is a marvelously textured backdrop for sewn beads. Since beads do not slide easily on this yarn, and because the beads holes here are particularly small, sewing is a satisfying solution. You can make a crocheted pillow in a similar manner using chenille of other heavily textured novelty yarns
