Materials:
Worsted Weight Yarn, approximately 90 yards
US Size 8 / 5mm double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Stitch Markers
Waste Yarn to use as a holder for thumb stitches
Tapestry Needle

Gauge:
24 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Pattern Note:
Mitts are worked in the round using dpns. The Chevron Rib Pattern is on the upper side of the hand, stockinette stitch is on the underside. Stitches are increased for the thumb gusset and then these stitches are placed on a holder to be worked after the mitten body is complete.
