Rasta Remix Beanie
Need a way to use up all of those beautiful (but not long enough) leftover yarn from other projects? This pattern is your answer.
You need just over a half a skein of a main color and then a small amount of 2 other colors (6 yards of each + a few extra yards if you want to make a coordinating pom pom). As a Malabrigo Rasta addict, I had tons of leftovers from many many projects that I just couldn’t get myself to throw away and now they have a beautiful purpose!
How it works:
- Simple stockinette hat with two rows of a “fun stitch” to make a braided-looking band.
- The band is made up of 2 different colors interspersed so you can play with different color combos depending on how big your excess stash is
- I used Malabrigo Rasta for all 3 yarns but any super bulky combo would work
- This is “one size fits most”; however, the pattern explains how to adjust it if you have an extremely large or extremely small head
