This pattern is for a little hammock for your rat. My neighbor brought her pet rat over to visit yesterday, and I was inspired! The finished hammock is approximately 15” on the longest edge, including the loops. It will stretch, and it’s made so that it is crocheted tightly and eventually stretches out a bit. It is my understanding that rats like to chew fabrics, so this makes it a bit more durable for that reason.
