These faux-cable socks are quite reminiscent of knitted cables and make this pair an interesting and fun project. The shell cables also fit like a dream, and the cuff is built right into the leg, thanks to the super-stretch stitch pattern! If a cuff is desired, work a side-to-side cuff, joined as you go, as in other toe-up patterns in this book. Make sure to watch your gauge on this sock, it can run bulky if you are not careful.

These toe-up socks are worked with a four-point toe, strong heel, and a cuff that is part of the stitch pattern, although an additional cuff can be attached.
