  • F/6 (4.0mm) crochet hook for the provisional cast-on.
  • Scissors, tapestry needle, waste yarn for the provisional cast on and putting sleeves on hold, and one button for the keyhole opening.

YARN:
DK weight (3) yarn. The samples are made with DK weight hand dyed yarn from Poppy and Spruce Fibers in the color Safe Space, and Woolberry Fiber Co in the color Marilla’s Brooch. The pattern includes more yarn suggestions and you can look at the tester’s projects for ideas as well.

SIZES:
Child’s chest circumference: (16, 17, 19, 21) (23, 25, 26.5, 28)“ / (40.5, 43, 45.5, 53) (58.5, 63.5, 67, 71) cm
Pattern has 2-3” of positive ease added to the chest circumference.

CONSTRUCTION:
The tee is knitted from the top down in a circular yoke. The yoke begins flat and is joined in the round after the second increase. The increases are created with yarn overs that create pretty eyelets around the yoke. After the yoke is complete, stitches are left on hold while the body is completed. Each sleeve is knitted separately, then the hem is sewn under and the icord neck is knitted last.
