Reach Out is an asymmetric triangle shawl worked from the top down. It has a right angle corner in the middle with one side growing faster than the other. It can be worn with the point in back or front, or even used as a head scarf. Make it any size (scarf to shawl) with any weight of yarn by changing the hook size to suit the yarn you choose. The finished size will depend on the amount of yarn, the yarn weight and hook size you use. The edging of your choice can be added with another yarn. The pictured sample was made with 459 yards of fingering/sock weight yarn with a size G (4 mm) crochet hook. Finished size measured 51” along the neckline x 19” long. After (optional) blocking, it grew to 61” neckline x 22.5” long. The 4 page pattern includes written row instructions, a stitch tutorial, and a crochet chart.
