Rear Window is my interpretation of another of my favorite movies. Worked in Garter and Mosaic stitches in two colors, the pattern begins easily and gradually becomes more complex. The mosaic section is presented with both charted and written instructions.

Slip stitches are worked both in Stockinette and Garter to add to the texture. One side of the attached border is worked using intarsia This means both the MC and CC will be attached at the same time. While this may seem complicated, the border allows color switches to be easily hidden.

Version 1 (Green/Gray) was made with Valley Yarns Cherlemont in Deep sea and Light Gray. Version 2 (Gold/Dark Gray) was made with The Periwinkle Sheep Delirium in Gold Rush and Slate. The finished size of approximately 68 inches wide and 22 inches deep was similar for both brands of yarn. In each case, select 2 skeins of the Main Color and 1 skein of the Contrast Color.

Determine gauge using Garter stitch. The mosaic section should drape as easily and the Garter stitch stripes.

Many Thanks to the test knitters for this project, lesliek, MotherofTwo, Grisou, and beesnez.
