Have that one skein of DK? This Tunisian cowl is a one-skein beauty. It is created with a mix of lace and rows of purl. This cowl is worked in one piece then seamed. Choose your length and stitch up this quick and fun to make cowl. This is an intermediate pattern.

• BlackCat Fibers, Essential DK (3) wt., 100% Superwash Merino, 3/5oz/100g, 231yds/212m,
o 1 skein, Chrysolina or color of choice
• J/10/6.0 mm Tunisian Crochet Hook with 14” extended cord, or size to obtain gauge
• Tapestry Needle

Preblocked; 16 sts and 14 rows = 4” Blocked; 13 sts and 11 rows = 4”

Pattern Notes
o Each Tunisian row is worked in 2 steps: the forward pass and the return pass.
o First loop on hook counts a first stitch unless otherwise stated.
o Last stitch is worked as a Tunisian simple stitch inserting hook through the top 2 vertical bars.
o Pattern is written for two length options, instructions for the longer option are in parentheses ( ).
