This is a mug cozy that will keep your fingers from getting too hot and your warm beverage from getting too cold.

This mug cozy is great because it will fit multiple mug sizes. You can adjust the length and the placement of the buttons to fit your favorite mug(s).

It’s crocheted with holding two strands of yarn throughout the pattern.

You’ll need sport weight yarn (I recommend Lang Denim Recycled Cotton…no need to buy newly made yarn when you can use recycled yarn:-))

You’ll also need an US-H hook and a needle to weave in the ends.

I used less than two skeins of the Lang Denim Recycled yarn for one mug cozy. If you adjust the pattern to make your cozy longer, you may need a third skein.

My husband loves his…and I just made another for our good friend who likes his tea boiling hot but doesn’t enjoy burning his fingers! :-)

You can find the pattern on my blog.
