This shawl won First Place in it’s category at the 2005 Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, and includes instructions for two different lace edgings. The pattern stitch is an easy one, but the shawl is ranked for Advanced Skills knitters due to the use of edge stitches and the method of knitting and attaching the lace edging simultaneously. If you’re pretty confident in your knitting skills or just want a little challenge/learning experience, this shawl shouldn’t be a problem for intermediate knitters.
