This is a long, soft cowl with a fairly simple lace border and an i-cord bind-off for a finished edge.

Both the size of the cowl and the yarn used are quite adaptable - simply add or remove pattern repeats and be sure to save about four rows worth of yarn for the i-cord bind-off.

As this is not a fitted garment, the gauge listed is more like a guideline. What is more important is that you are comfortable with the feel of the fabric, no matter what size yarn you are using.

Beads can easily be added - to the centers of the leaf patterns, to the stitch that divides the pattern repeats, or where ever you feel like it.
